SEO suggestions for my site?

I have a new website: http://www.morcapadvisors.com

I am looking for suggestions on directory submissions and link requests relating specifically to my industry: non-performing loans, subperforming loans, defaulted loans, and REO.

content will do nothing without inbound links. write content for the clients, not for search engines because it does not work.

Google, yahoo , msn, altavista, alltheweb are all link popularity engines, not content engines.

I can show you thousands of content rich sites with NO traffic, but i can show you low content sites with good links and massive traffic.

Look at bizrate.com. poor content by most standards, yet they rank for millions of keywords.
do this link:http://bizrate.com just copy and paste this in yahoo and see how many links they have. and then look for the content. They lack content but have loads of links. so really, what would you rather do????

Well ! there are two methods, paid and Free. Paid is quick and free one takes abit time but provides long time results. Paid is adwords and few other networks, Free is SEO or Organic Search Engine Optimisation.

Adwords is best choice for startup business or businesses having very good finances.

SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) is the only way to get good traffic free ;) You need to optimise your web site.

You need to do two aspects of SEO

1 is On site Optimisation, which includes adding Titles, META, Keywoerds, then content related to your META. Also Alt tag for images can optimise your images.

2nd is Off site optimisation, which includes getting good links from other web sites related to your content/topic.

Also consider Social Bookmarking for Offsite Optimisation.

I will suggest you to use http://www.Tagza.com - submit your stories there, thats Cool young web site and any submitted URL goes to its home page.

There is alot to do and it needs patience ;)
