Why our site training8m.com with a respectable traffic ranking of around 300k is not getting listed in DMOZ?

We have submitted the link around six months back... we rate high in all search engines but all the search engines take details of site from DMOZ entry..

The normal review period of DMOZ is 6 - 8 months (Approximately)

If your site is really worth with good stuff also while submitting if you have chosen correct category with appropriate title and description, there is no doubt your site will get listed definitely in DMOZ.

If in case you have made any mistakes in the submission process and resubmitted it again, your status will go back in the queue and it will take longer time for review. Please be patience.

If the website doesn't have meta description and enough content, Google will consider the description from DMOZ by default, if that website is listed there to display in the search snippet. If suppose the website is not listed in DMOZ it will consider the description from Yahoo Directory. If the website doesn't have meta description, enough content and also not listed in DMOZ Yahoo Directory, then Google will ignore the description for that website in the search results.
