Custom bookmarks?

A bookmark is generally just a piece of printed card stock; you should be able to have several thousand of these printed through any local print shop, office-supply store, or warehouse store (e.g. CostCo). If you want the bookmarks laminated or some other slick coating, that would cost extra.
Try to put together a request for bid that specifies all the details of your project (quantity, colors, paper stock, coatings, image specs) and then submit it to several different local printers and some online printing companies. You will almost certainly get bids that vary by at least 100% and probably 200% (that is, the cheapest bid might be $400 and other bids for the same items may be $800 or $1,200). Check to make sure the low bidder hasn't ignored or modified some of your requirements (I've had this happen often; I specify a nice paper stock, and they submit a bid for printing on plain copy paper).
