Publicize a Blog or Podcast?

My company (technology consulting firm) is revamping our website and I think that our client base and our employees would want to know when we have new resources on our website. By resources I mean Pod/Webcasts, White Papers, Case Studies, Press Releases, Employee Blogs (hosted within our site), etc. Does anyone have a recommendation for how this is done? I came across FeedBurner and it seems to be just the kind of service I might need, but wanted to ask people who might actually know....
