How Can I encourage people to sign up for my RSS Feed?

Hi, we have a blog we are building and we are giving a free E-Book away which is packed full of incredibly good material. Our blog is new, only a month or so old, but we have had hardly anyone sign up for the free book, which we find odd. Can someone provide some suggestions on how we can get people to sign up for the free book? I think we should put some kind of a Sales Pitch right beside it. Can someone provide some suggestions for text we could put in there. All we ask is for their name and E-Mail in exchange. Below is the link to our Blog. Thanks very much for your input!

Some of the ways you can advertise your website and increase traffic are:
1. Post an article about your website on related blogs and get free back links
2. Submitting to directories
3. Free classifieds
4. Forums

Send an email with a description of your website to e@culx.net for a list of websites for free advertising and to get free one way backlinks
