I need ideas for naming my shoe company! Help?

I am doing a project in a graphics class and we are designing a logo for our company. I am doing a shoe company and my logo is a lion which i have designed.

Right now the name i have for my shoe brand is Simba. Which is lion in swahili.

is that good or any other ideas to name my shoe brand?

Shoes do more than just cover our feet in the snow or soft ground they leave a mark our mark. Imagine a shoe if you were to apply ink it would leave a message on ground, So ever time you walk you could leave a painted foot print with a message. When you stepped it would push ink through the treads.

Simba is good but obviously reminds me of a Disney movie I once saw. I would choose something more general but catchy, something like Da' Shit Shoes. People will see this name and say, Oh Shit! I gotzta get me somma dem Da' Shit Shoes shoes! Trust me you will get an A with this brand name. Good luck!

there are many great names for shoes still out there and available there is a cheetah and a puma shoe but the lion which is the biggest cat of the cats is also the fastest to slow down and the least effective runner and hunter of the big cats. So what you have left is these cute names like bobcat, ocelot, jaguar, panther, mountain lion, cougar, leopard and the tiger. Out of these I like the leopard and the jaguar but the name of the shoe company needs to have it's name based on the popularity of today in the minds of the buyers, the demographic your company is going to chase so! What demographic is it you want to chase? OK so Lets say you use the name Panther in Espanol it's Panthera....Now I like that alot. in fact I have an idea for different shoes within the company you know like lines? How about: the campus - school shoe line for students) summer thunder - for when you aren't in school) winters rage - water resistant and warm winter styles) the ice melt - water resistant and earthy hiking styles) the driver - Comfortable shoes to slip on for driving around town with great grip and traction on the cars pedals) the shopper - comfortable walking shoes for being on your feet all day) and the home front - a line of slippers and comfy's.
