any idea how google adsense works ? I would like to use it for my website to gain more traffic?

Not sure if it gains you more traffic. The code goes into your Web page and the ads are displayed. If/when people click on the ads they go off to another site and you receive a payment.

Not sure how it can increase your traffic. I find the ads really annoying and I never click on them, but some people make a few dollars from them, especially Google!

adsense allows you to make some money from it whenever your visitors click on the advertisements, but it does not gain more traffic to your website.
