What is a a unique click?

Postby adah » Fri Apr 03, 2009 9:10 pm

I have signed up for Google Adsense, and placed a few ads on my website (http://the-void.net).

According to the Terms of Service, I get paid per unique click

As I understand it, a unique click is a click on an ad by a computer that has not previously clicked on any ads.

But, is this unique clicks per day? week? month? year? (per ad?)

As an example, If a user clicks on an ad on my website, and then clicks on another ad 2 days later, are both clicks considered unique clicks ?

Thanks for reading,

Unique clicks generally reset every 24 hours. You should get credit every time a person clicks on an ad link on your website, so long as that person has not clicked on that same link in the previous 24 hours. If someone clicks on two different links, you should get credit for two unique clicks.
