I have opened a website www.carpemanna.com, primarily for blogging. I would like to venture it in the form of either social networking site or in the form of classifieds. Any new business models to suggest???

Any suggestions on how to make Google top 10? Start blogging and receive opinions.

its not easy to be google top 10. i dont discourage u but its the fact.

so my suggestion is to start a blogging website. because there are big fishes like orkut and faceboo, my space ect....

so u can start blogging.

Keep it up, yes you can be in Google top 10 for many keywords.
Optimize your website for more and more keywords. Start with low competition keywords, say, "Seize a gift" or similar ones which you think are searched by users. then advance towards more competitive keywords, like "A gift from above" and keep on moving.

Keep on building more and more keywords base in top 10 positions. and you will see people flowing into your website from Google.
