Blogging for money? What?

Now someone tell me what this is all about! I was looking into how to make some money this summer. I came across "blogging for money". Can someone tell me what blogging is, how to do it, and how to make money with it? Thanks!

Blogging is nothing special and blogging itself doesnt make you any money. Goto http://blogspot.com and open up an account. Once you have an account then you can start writing stuff that you know or like to write about. You can also cover current events, talk about movies, music, fashion, automobiles, sports or maybe about your ownself, your school life, your job etc.

Now in order to make money, the only way other than selling stuff is by placing advertisement on your blog. People click on the ads and you earn some revenue. If the stuff you write on your blog is something that really interests people and your blog becomes a huge success then you can expect to make hundreds of dollars in a day. The possibility to make lots of money by blogging is there, the only question is, can you really write interesting stuff?

Blogging is like an online diary, or a collection of articles you write. People find your articles interesting, and come over to your blog from all over the world.
Now, when you want to start earning money from this, you put Adsense on your blog, which is FREE to subscribe to. Adsense is the system where you put ads from Google on your website, and get paid a small amount of money for each of your visitors who clicks an ad. Many visitors, means many clicks, and thus more money.
Adsense can earn you quite some money, but it does take alot of effort and time.
