Torn about blogging on Blogger with adsense?

I want to start a blog to help with promoting my articles. Many people recommend Blogger as a good one to get started BUT I've heard that you don't get paid by Google Adsense until you've reach $100 payout and that sometimes they have failed to pay. Any help?

It's true, Google Adsense doesn't pay out untill you've reached 100$. This can take a few months, but also only a few days, or hours, depending on how popular your blog is...
As for failing to pay: no, Google always pays correctly. What often happens is that people try to trick the system, clicking their own ads and stuff. If Google finds out, and they mostly do find out, the account is closed, and the earned money goes back to the advertisers (as this is the only honest thing to do in fact).
