When You use Blogger.com how long will your blog stay on a search page?

As long as Blogger is still around, your website will most likely stay in the search index. However, that's not quite the same as showing in the search results. If your site ranks #204 for the search term, that doesn't do you much good.
What makes a blog or news site different from other websites is "freshness," and search engines pay attention to freshness when they show you search results. If you write about something that just happened, your new blog post will rank higher for a while because it's fresh. As the freshness wears off, your post will likely slip in the rankings.
To prevent this from happening, you need to get some good links to your post from other websites. Then you're more likely to be seen as an authority on the topic, rather than just a passing commentator.
Bonus tip: Check out Google Trends to find out what's popular right now.
Cheers!
