Learn and apply SEO. Do social bookmarking and use other social media. I don't have time for details but I'm sure you can do the research.

It is not a single time process, and of you want to do yourself then you should become a regular learner to learn the latest SEO techniques. If you have some budget then you can also hire some company or individual SEO professional.
