How to promote a good song?

I got this problem. I'm a musician, I study classic music, but I got interest in popular music too.

I have several songs ( I dont write texts, only music ). And all people who heard it ( friends, family, etc... ) say they really like it too.

But I dont know what is my first step in making some moves towards making a record.

How do I meet people from production houses?

Who is the best person to show my work without any fear?

Can I make it as ''just'' music writer ( I mean, not being a producer ) ...

I would like to write music for some of famous pop singers here. Can I make music, and then someone else does production?

How much I get paid?

Or should I -promote- myself as song writer and singer? ( I finished singing highschool, and singed in some rock bands, and did one role in a music thearte ) ...

Should my begining be ''selling'' song to someone else?

Make my own band, or being solo singer?



How to start on being -discovered- ?
