Hiding CB Nickname in Addressbar & Methods to test links

Hiding your Clickbank Nickname in the Address bar of Browser:


Hello,
As you may know, most of the links in your CBTopSites Mall hide your Clickbank Nickname in the address bar of your browser.

This feature is provided to improve sales in your Mall and to hide your Nickname from visitors.

Your CBTopSites Mall links do not display your Nickname in the address bar.
example:
when you click on http://cbtopsites.com/r/YourClickbankNickname
It will hide your nickname in the address bar.

Also, other Mall links hide your nickname.

However, when you click on some of the sites in your Mall, they may display your nickname in the address bar like
http://website.com/?hop=YourClickbankNickname
and some sites do not. This is based on the settings in the individual sites in the Mall and that is beyond our control.


Method to test if your Links are working properly:

So, you may be interested to know how to correctly test links and ensure that your nickname is working perfectly.

1) Enter through any of your Mall links such as the main page link,
2) Click on any site in your Mall.
3) Click on the order / purchase / buy link on that site.
4) you may notice the Clickbank Order Form
5) look at the bottom of the order form.
If you have correctly entered through your Mall links, you should find, [affiliate=YourClickbankNickname.D] at the bottom of the order page.

If you find [affiliate=YourClickbankNickname.D] at the bottom of the order page, you will get commission.


If you are a free member, around 80% links in your Mall may have your Clickbank Nickname
and the remaining links may have other Nicknames.

Sometimes, you may find any tracking id in the place of 'D'.


If you did not find your nickname for any site in your Mall:

If you are unable to find your nickname in the bottom of order pages of sites in your mall like [affiliate=YourClickbankNickname.D], or if you feel that you are unable to find your nickname in the website links in your mall, please follow these instructions:

1) please visit http://cbtopsites.com/cookies.htm
enable cookies, enter through any of your links and test a few links in
your mall

2) If you have installed another browser in your computer such as mozilla,
firefox, opera, netscape etc.. please test your links in those browsers
after enabling cookies.
( or, Download free firefox browser at http://www.mozilla.com and test
your links.
Download free opera browser at http://www.opera.com/download and test your links. )

3) Please test your links in another computer

4) If you are using internet explorer:
Goto the browser menu
tools -> internet options -> security
set security slider to medium
tools -> internet options -> privacy
set privacy slider to medium or medium high
save

5) please ask any of your friends using a different computer to follow the steps at:
