Hello,
I have a question on landing page for Clickbank Mall.
If a visitor gets to the Clickbank mall directly, I see a distinct disadvantage:
#1 He will be confronted by too many resources, and it could get confusing.
On the other hand, if we have an opt-in form which he must fill in order to enter the Clickbank Mall, I see advantages as well as disadvantages.
#1 We can get his email id, which is important in a long-term sense
#2 He will read some short, easy to comprehend message on the landing page, so before entering Clickbank mall, he'll know what he's gonna see, which will at least prevent some confusion.
Disadvantage:
#1 He may not have the patience to fill the form
Solution (in my view):
I have some free stuff which I can promise to deliver, provided he fills the form. This could act as some sort of incentive for him to fill the form, and enter the mall.
This is my line of thinking, and I hope the admin and others can share their knowledge and experience as to whether this is a sound, logical approach, whether a landing page of this sort would be more beneficial to convert visitors into customers, rather than the mall itself.
Warmly,
Suresh
