There are easy to implement, and you aren't required to jump through anywhere near as many hoops when compared with google's adsense. Look for products that fit into your niche and also offer you a decent commission. Look for affiliate products that include tools for you to use. These can include email templates to send out in a newsletter, banners to place on your website, landing pages you can drive traffic to, and keyword lists for PPC campaigns.

If you can write an ad then adwords is the fastest way to test a product for sales. Look for a product that has high gravity.
