When you write more original, interesting and useful articles, you will start getting more visitors. They enter your mall through your links and puchase anything thing and you can earn commissions.

If you copy articles from other sources, you may not get any visitors ( especially from search engines). So, write original, interesting and useful articles in your own words.

You can find many different templates in wordpress site.

The more original your articles the more hits you are going to get. Once you get a good topic add more articles along the same topic line. The more readers you draw in the better you will do.
